Welcome to Rockets Instruments! We build custom 3 string shovel guitars to order.  If you have a specific shovel guitar build in mind, email us your ideas and we'll see what we can create together!

Each 3 string shovel guitar is built by hand by Rocket from start to finish. We take pride in our instruments and build them to last! We use specific shovels for a unique quality and sound. Our shovel guitar  shafts are made from Northern Hardwood with a strong, solid polyurethane handle. Combined with the tempered shovel head the sound is crisp and clean! We also do all of our own wiring. Each contact is soldered by us to ensure a quality connection is made. Our pickups are individually hand wound, noise-free, carefully crafted from beginning to end! Only 1/4" thick ! Our surface mount pickups produce a wide variety of sound depending on your guitar and amp settings, ranging from mellow blues to "Delta swamp" to ROCK OUT!.
